BRANDING

When I was asked by my good friend, Mary to help her create the branding for her new charity I was of course so excited for this, as aside from the fact that she is incredible and her project is amazing, I was so inspired by her and everything she was doing with this!  She had spent the few months prior working with local communities to supply donations of beds, bikes and books to kids who needed them most. By advertising across the city and online, Mary would then deliver the donated products to the kids and their families and by providing these kids with all the things they need to dream big, because after all, everyone deserves the right to dream.

VISUAL REPRESENTATION

Creating characters for each of the initiatives of the bikes, books and beds, naturally split the branding into three, to make it apparent as to what was required from anyone wanting to donate, but also understanding what was offered to the kids and their families. The characters of course made this feel fun and something the kids would want to be a part of, particularly when represented across bags and bottles. Creating the name ‘Dream Collective’ formed an umbrella for the brand itself and combined the ideas that everything Mary was providing to the families were the tools to give the children the chance to dream, whether it will be when sleeping, reading or riding.
